9 May 2012 - Springtime, Fire Bison, & Screaming Females at Strange Matter

Another visit to RVA from NJ’s own Screaming Females. Yay! And this time we had the pleasure of Springtime and Fire Bison as opening acts. I figured I had gotten decent pics of the Screamales last time they were in town, so I decided not to fight the crowd to stand near the front.  So I have fantastically blurry pictures this time.  Really, I thought they’d turn out better than this. At least the show was better than the pictures!

THIS, my friends, was the day I was waiting for.

I had to move after Screaming Females were done, and due to the crowd surge, I was left trying to shoot over people’s heads to get pics of Titus Andronicus.

Screaming Females @ Steady Sounds, Richmond, VA. 16 Feb 2012.

It was so crowded that the only shot I could really get was of Marissa. I was way too close to drum & bass to try to photograph them.
